Turtle eggs

Surprising to see so many turtle eggs and so deep in the soil, especially on the hard causeway road.  The broken eggs show lots of yolk.  They have been safely reburied.

Causeway molar extraction

The miserable two rocks that crowned the causeway by the ramp have been exposed to sunlight and removed from hitting  mufflers.
At the same time of removal, at one to one and a half feet from the surface was a clutch of turtle eggs, perhaps 100.  They were buried off to the side of the road, by the large rock that was extracted.  Rocks were placed on top of it to deter animals.

Good shape

Although there was heavy rains recently, the road has held up well.  Some additional diversionary channels are being constructed along the road to take runoff water into the bush and away from the road.
